Feature: Applicant Import

Applicant importer form

Being forced to do manual data entry can be a pain and waste a lot of time. It’s also boring work and is easy to make errors.

That’s why I’m happy to announce that Chirk HR now has an applicant importer. This feature lets you upload a CSV file to Chirk and import 10s, 100s, even 1000s of applicants at one time. Even if you only have a few applicants to add, importing will save you time.

The applicant importer is available to every account right now. Just login and browse to your list of applicants and you should see a new button for it.

Here are some ideas about how you can use the applicant importer:

  • When demoing Chirk HR while on the 30 day trial, you can quickly import some applicants and see how Chirk works without having to enter in all of your applicants.
  • You can have someone transcribe all of the past applicants into an Excel file, export that file to CSV, and then import them into Chirk. Then you’d have your entire applicant history ready to use.
  • Export applicants from another system to import into Chirk.
  • You could use Chirk as an employee database by creating and importing a list of your current employees

If you have any questions about the applicant import or suggestions about improving it, let me know in the comments below.
